Jeevan Loan provides a digital platform and technology support for the loan application process. Loan approval, disbursal, servicing, repayment management, and related lending decisions are handled by the NBFC lending partner in accordance with applicable law and internal credit policies.

2. Service Scope

Jeevan Loan is intended for eligible users in India who wish to review and apply for short-term loan products through a digital process.

Loan amount: Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 100,000

Loan tenure: 120 to 360 days

Maximum APR: 20%

Processing fee: 1% of approved amount

GST: 18% on processing fee

Eligible age: 20 to 60 years

Before you accept any loan offer, the App will display relevant loan details such as approved amount, tenure, APR, interest, processing fee, GST, repayment schedule, and total payable amount.

We may collect the following categories of personal data, depending on your use of the App and the permissions you provide.

4.1 Account and Contact Information

This may include your full name, mobile number, email address, residential address, date of birth, gender, account status, customer ID, login records, and customer support communications.

Purpose of use: Account creation, user communication, customer support, application status updates, service notifications, and grievance handling.

Protection and retention: This data is stored with access controls and retained only as long as required for service, legal, audit, dispute, or regulatory purposes.

4.2 Identity Verification and KYC Information

This may include identity document details, PAN, Aadhaar-related information where lawfully permitted, photographs of documents, applicant selfie or live photo, KYC verification results, and other information required for identity verification.

Purpose of use: Identity verification, fraud prevention, KYC checks, eligibility review, credit assessment, account security, and compliance with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Protection and retention: KYC data is handled with restricted access and may be retained where required for lending, audit, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

4.3 Financial, Employment, and Loan Application Information

This may include occupation, employer information, income details, income proof, bank account information, repayment details, loan application history, approved amount, contract details, disbursal status, repayment status, outstanding balance, overdue information, and related credit assessment data.

Purpose of use: Loan application review, credit assessment, repayment ability evaluation, fraud risk analysis, disbursal, repayment processing, loan servicing, and compliance.

Protection and retention: Financial and loan data is protected with access restrictions and retained according to contractual, legal, accounting, tax, audit, dispute, and regulatory requirements.

4.4 Device and App Usage Information

This may include device model, operating system version, app version, device language, IP address, device identifiers, login logs, session data, crash logs, security events, feature usage records, timestamps, and interaction data.

Purpose of use: App security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, service improvement, system stability, account protection, and prevention of unauthorized access.

Protection and retention: Device and usage data is used only for operational, technical, security, and compliance purposes and is retained for a limited period unless longer retention is legally required.

5. iOS Permissions and Information Access

Jeevan Loan may request certain iOS permissions only when you use related features. iOS will display a permission prompt before access is allowed, and you can manage permissions at any time in your device settings.

5.1 Camera

Information processed: Photos or videos captured by you through the App, such as identity documents, application documents, applicant photo, or images required for verification.

Purpose of use: KYC verification, document submission, identity confirmation, fraud prevention, and loan application processing.

Protection and retention: We use camera data only for the relevant application or verification purpose. We do not use camera images for unrelated advertising purposes.

5.2 Photos and Media

Information processed: Images or files that you choose to upload from your device.

Purpose of use: Uploading identity documents, income proof, application documents, or other materials required for loan application or support.

Protection and retention: We access only the files you select, to the extent supported by iOS. We do not scan your full photo library or use unselected photos to assess your financial status.

5.3 Contacts

Information processed: Specific contact details selected or entered by you, such as an emergency contact or reference contact, if this feature is used.

Purpose of use: Application verification, reference confirmation, fraud prevention, and service-related checks where permitted by law.

Protection and retention: We do not collect your entire address book. We do not create a contact database for sale or marketing. A reference contact is not treated as a guarantor merely because the contact is provided, and you should inform the person before submitting their details.

5.4 Approximate Location

Information processed: Approximate city, region, or location-related information, if you grant permission or provide location-related information manually.

Purpose of use: Service area verification, fraud prevention, risk control, compliance checks, and application verification.

Protection and retention: We do not continuously track your background location. If location permission is not granted, we may provide a way to enter address or service area information manually where available.

5.5 Tracking Permission and Advertising Identifier

Information processed: If the App uses Apple App Tracking Transparency and you provide permission, the App may access advertising-related identifiers such as IDFA for measuring app installation or advertising campaign performance.

Purpose of use: Advertising measurement, attribution analysis, and campaign performance review where permitted by your consent and Apple policies.

Protection and retention: Granting this permission is optional. Refusing tracking permission will not affect registration, loan application submission, approval decision, credit limit, interest rate, or loan servicing. We do not use IDFA for credit decisioning.

For the Jeevan Loan iOS application, we do not collect private SMS messages, call logs, calendar data, passwords, private chat content, or the contents of other applications.

We do not collect your full contact list unless a specific feature clearly requests selected contact information and you provide permission. We do not collect installed application lists for credit decisions in the iOS application unless a future feature is separately disclosed and permitted by applicable platform rules and law.

We do not use unselected photos, full address book data, private communications, or advertising identifiers to make loan approval decisions.

The NBFC lending partner and authorized service providers may use verification systems, risk models, and internal assessment procedures to evaluate the information you provide, consistency of records, repayment ability, fraud signals, and eligibility criteria.

The result of this assessment may affect whether a loan is approved, the approved amount, repayment tenure, or applicable terms. Submitting an application does not guarantee loan approval.

We do not use IDFA, unselected photos, your full contact list, private communications, call logs, or SMS message content for credit assessment.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data only where necessary and lawful with:

Data transmitted from the App is protected using reasonable security measures such as encrypted transmission where technically feasible. We also require authorized service providers to apply appropriate confidentiality, security, and access control measures when handling personal data on our behalf.

If personal data is processed or stored outside your state or outside India through authorized service providers, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that such processing remains subject to appropriate confidentiality, security, and lawful processing obligations.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including account operation, loan application processing, loan contract performance, repayment management, customer support, fraud prevention, audit, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and regulatory record retention.

Where data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and internal retention procedures.

Certain KYC records, loan records, transaction records, repayment records, audit logs, fraud prevention records, and legal or regulatory records may need to be retained for longer periods where required by applicable law, regulator guidance, audit obligations, tax/accounting requirements, limitation periods, or dispute handling needs.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period according to backup cycles, but such copies are protected, access-restricted, and deleted or overwritten according to system schedules.

To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity and provide information such as registered mobile number, name, email address, and account details before processing the request.

If you have an active loan application, ongoing loan contract, outstanding repayment, unresolved dispute, suspected fraud issue, or legal or regulatory obligation, we may not be able to complete full deletion immediately. In such cases, we will inform you of the status and retain only the information necessary for lawful, contractual, audit, dispute, or regulatory purposes.

After the request is completed, we will delete or deactivate information that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal retention obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. These may include encrypted transmission, access controls, authentication controls, system monitoring, audit logs, secure storage practices, confidentiality obligations, backup controls, and internal data handling procedures.

However, no electronic transmission, app, server, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should also protect their device, login credentials, OTPs, and account information.

Jeevan Loan is intended for users aged 20 to 60 years. We do not knowingly allow persons below 20 years of age to submit loan applications through the App. If we become aware that information from an ineligible underage person has been collected improperly, we will take appropriate steps to stop processing the application and delete or handle the data as required by law.

The App or related web pages may use cookies, similar technologies, and third-party SDKs for login, security, crash reporting, performance monitoring, fraud prevention, analytics, attribution, and service improvement.

Any cross-app or cross-website tracking and access to IDFA will occur only where permitted by Apple App Tracking Transparency and your consent, if such tracking is used. You may refuse or change tracking permission in iOS settings.

We are responsible for configuring third-party SDKs and service providers in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and with the data practices disclosed for the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to changes in law, regulatory requirements, platform rules, technology, app features, service providers, or our data handling practices.
